EAU15 marked the formal transition from Per-Anders Abrahamsson to Christopher Chapple as new EAU Secretary General. Abrahamsson, who said it was his aim “to see the association better off when I leave,” expressed his optimism for future EAU successes even as he reiterated that the EAU’s core strategy will stay focused on Europe.
EAU15 marked the launch of EAU TV, a daily programme which showed Scientific Programme highlights, interviews with key opinion leaders, thought leadership documentaries, and comments from congress participants.
EU Focus, the sister journal of European Urology, was launched during EAU15. EU Focus, published six times per year as an e-magazine, features thematic reviews, original reports, correspondence and introductory editorials on a wide range of topics in urology.
